Might as well start the first post off with the most common thing we all do when we decide to leave our home country and venture off into the world, BLOG!
There's tons of reasons why we do it, whether it's so that family can keep an eye out on what we're doing, keeping our friends informed of all the crazy shit w're doing and they're not, or doing it just to keep your own record of all the stuff you do.
There's tons of tools, websites, and add-ons to make it look unique, or one-of-a-kind, and I'm in no way a professional blogger, but I've done a couple in the past, and these are some of the most popular FREE ways to do them:
Blogger.com
Extremely popular amongst personal bloggers due to the ease and functionality of the set-up process. Lots of features and built-in plugins to customize your blog site site anyway you want.
Wordpress.com
One of, if not THE best blogging platform on the web. Tons of features, add-ons, layouts, templates, etc. If you're not using it, you should be.
Weebly.com
Named by Time magazine as one of the best 50 websites, Weebly's simplified layout, and easy to operate interface makes it super popular amongst newbies, as well as pro's who want to throw up a website in a matter of minutes.
Picasa.com
Picasa by Google is a great photo uploading service. You can upload albums, edit your pictures, create slideshows to share, and more. I use it for my other blogs and it's a great way to organize albums for your blogs.
Polldaddy.com
PollDaddy is one of the best services out there for creating simple or extremely in-depth surveys, polls, quizzes, and ratings. It's been featured in PC Magazine, CNN, Wired, and more.
That's all for now, I figure 5 at a time is enough to go through, will continue this post at a later time as I discover more tools to help you blog from wherever you are in the world.
